I had a great time with my kids in the southwest of France.On the way back to Paris, we stayed in Saumur,a small town in the valley of the Loire river(a valley that was once the favourite neighbourhood of the french Kings).We visited some great chateaux and abbeys. We really enjoyed our journey.
