［隨筆］Kill The Time Vs. Beat the Time

Shopping mall is where people go there sometime without any pourpose, just wondering around, seeing what's out there, or whatever. Teenagers do that a lot. They call it "Kill the time."

When you are a teenager, you have a lot of time for yourself, everthing else are taken care of by others, you get bored quite often, so you can kill the time simply by doing nothing.

As you get aged, time is not on yourside any more, you are running out of it. The best you can do is to "beat the time ", can't "kill the time" anymore.

You have things to do, project to finish, house to clean, .... There are so many things that must be done in your book now. You now have a  "Deadline. "  If you can't make the cut, you are a dead meat.

Time is your enemy.  It is very pushing and cold-blooded.  You will have to beat it, otherwise it will beat you, and you will be finished before you even know it.
