每天晚上吃過晚飯，我去外邊溜達一圈，順便在樓下報攤上花一塊錢買份北京晚報，於是很有歸屬感，用當下時髦的語言叫“接地氣”。

過年那幾天，雖然沒盜版碟看，可上街打車忒容易，空車滿街都是，一招手就來好幾輛，而且路上一點不堵車，連臭名昭著的二環三環都不堵，簡直把人爽死了。北京的的哥們雖說掙錢少點，可還是喜歡空曠了的北京城，說“這才是北京應該的樣子--沒有外地人的北京”。

大年初十，我家周圍那些DVD販子終於上班了，我對他們抱怨：你們放假的也太長了吧，我都斷頓多天了，感覺你們賺錢很不敬業。兩個小夥子還拚命跟我狡辯，說我們昨天就來了。
祖國的電視節目努力嚐試了很久，還是覺得慘不忍睹，就靠這些DVD娛樂了，還得再感歎一遍，真便宜真快真全呀。

回北京有一個月了，主要忙著生病，玩都還沒怎麽玩。主要天寒地凍的，外邊走的長點就扛不住，在加州住了十年，那裏溫暖如春的天氣把人徹底慣壞了，我感冒已經生了兩場，其中一場高燒不退，居然到了吃抗生素的地步，要知道我已經有十幾年都沒吃過什麽正經的藥了，可見情況很嚴重。好不容易病好的差不多了，兒子那裏又出了情況。
