畫Figurepainting沒有多少經驗，以前畫真人的頂多也就一兩幅畫，還有幾個quickposes.所以現在要學呀。這個是6個小時，兩個session(兩天）畫的。嗬嗬，湊合看吧。注：模特本來就是中年婦女，沒有多麽好看。第一個session的時候被簡化美化了。。。嘿。老公說我不應該那麽忠於現實，他喜歡第一幅的樣子，包括人物的樣子和顏色布局。我說我這個階段得盡量[閱讀全文]

還沒有完成的畫。這次上的課教的oldmasters'technique,就是glazing.Ifounditgoesagainstmyspontaneousandintuitivewayofworking.Youhavetofirstpaintacompleteunderpainting,usingonecolororafewcolors,andthenglazethinlayersofcolorsonit.

Sister-in-law給我的一株rosetree,放在後院。I'mterriblewithplants。總是忘記澆水，也想不起去照看一下。這個玫瑰樹拿來的時候上麵開滿了花，結果謝完以後，老沒水，葉子幹枯，大半個樹都快死了。幾個月後我想起來了，跑到跟前去看才發現這個慘狀。
老公說：不急不急，還沒死。他開始takeover,每天給花澆水，然後這一陣天氣也比較好，雨水多，玫瑰慢慢的竟然又活過來了[閱讀全文]

自己動手製作journal/sketchbook!先是在網上讀到別人的blog,他們每天都畫sketches,很有趣，並自己動手製作sketchbook,這樣你可以任意選你喜歡的紙張，比如水彩紙，顏色紙，handmadepaper,等等，自己決定大小，並製造各種各樣的效果。非常有趣。我按照推薦,從amazon.com買了這本書：TheDecoratedJournal.

Sundayisabeautifulday.碧空如洗。我們跑到海灣邊的公園去。晴朗的天空下，海水藍藍，一浪一浪溫柔的向岸邊撲打。遼闊的水域，表麵反映著天空的藍色，點點陽光跳躍，空靈平靜。那個藍色藍的讓人難以置信，眼睛不能離開。他跳下海裏去遊泳，我在沙灘陽傘下畫水彩速寫，就有了上麵兩幅。

Compressedcharcoalandwhitecharcoalonbutcherpaper..就是牛皮紙啦
上禮拜在lifedrawingclass上看見有人用棕色紙（好像是牛皮紙）畫，覺得很好，有趣。以前在哪裏也讀到過可以用butcherpaper(牛皮紙）來畫，又便宜，今天就試驗了一下。覺得還不錯。還需要再習慣一下。這個是照著我humananatomy書裏的照片畫的。
