Where did Washington go?

幼兒園牆上最近貼了三個人的頭像，珠珠走路經過就問我：What's her name?  她現在he/she, his/her不分，通通用she和her，也不管單複數。我就一個一個指給她看，說：這是林肯，這是馬丁路得金，這是華盛頓。 她照例說：哦！
昨天走路經過，三人變兩人了，珠珠發現少了人，我告訴她不見了的是華盛頓。
今天又走路經過，還是隻有兩個人，珠珠問：Where did Washington go? 我很吃驚，她居然記住了。走過園長辦公室，我讓她自己去問Mrs. Duffy。珠珠就大聲問道：Where did Washington go? 園長馬上從椅子上拿起華盛頓頭像，說：George Washington is really popular.   Many kids have asked.  It's like a "who's missing" game.  I'll put more tape on it tomorrow。珠珠心滿意足地跟我走了。回家還跟爸爸匯報Mrs. Duffy is gonna put more tape on it.
