Hello everyone. I am 八黑. 黑黑黑黑黑黑黑黑. My mom used to write blogs about me when I was a kid. They are still posted on this website. I was born on July 23, 2003, in Flushing, New York City. After I was born, my parents sent me to China to have my grandparents look over me while they figured things out in America. I was sent back to Flushing when I was two years old. I was raised in Flushing for twelve years, from 2005 to 2017. My mom was actively posting about her life raising me back then. We moved from Flushing to Little Neck in my freshman year of high school. That was in October 2017. It's been almost 8 years since then. A lot of things have happened. Two years ago, my mom was suddenly hit by a car while walking to the grocery store in the morning. She passed away from brain trauma two days later. I don't have any relatives in America except for my father. Life is difficult, and my situation is complicated. I have had a very hard time adjusting to the events of my life. I found my mom's blog today, and it has inspired me to start writing about my own life. I still remember some of the memories she wrote about. There are parts of her in those posts that I never got the chance to know. Thank you for reading this through. I hope the people who loved her blog will come to love mine.
