中國留學生因導航出錯誤入美軍基地 如今失去簽證

洛杉磯華人資訊網10月14日報道  兩年前，德州中國留學生因為手機導航的錯誤指引，在自駕遊期間，誤入阿拉斯加（Alaska）的美國軍事基地。原本以為時過境遷，並未特別在意，未料今年暑假回國遭拒簽，學業被迫終止。同行者中也有兩人工作簽證（H1B）遇阻。

此前就讀於德州UT Austin研究院的林同學（化名）近日接受了記者的采訪，講述了事情的經過。

2021年的聖誕節，林同學與7、8個同學相約去阿拉斯加自駕遊旅行，期間使用了蘋果的手機導航，結果導航錯誤的將他們領入了美國的軍事基地，在一片愕然中，每個人的護照、I-20（學生簽證必備，旅行需攜帶）都被收了上去，並且接受了一對一的盤問，大約一個半小時後放行。

In one incident, a vehicle with Chinese citizens blew past a security checkpoint at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, several soldiers told USA TODAY. The vehicle was eventually stopped, and a search found a drone inside the vehicle. The occupants claimed they were tourists who had gotten lost.
