China has gotten the west worried due to their expanding role and influence in the continent. 

Western countries have been in Africa for centuries right from the era of colonialism but have recently been losing their grip. 

The United States, France, alongside the European Union are currently looking for better ways to forge a better relationship with Africa. 

China’s role in Africa is definitely impacting the global geopolitical situation. 

In this video, I share my own personal research and point of view as an African.

Western countries are shouting about China's debt, even though America also has the largest debt to China and China is the largest borrower of money to America.

now like this, a country wants to progress or wants to develop, then a country must learn how a country can develop and progress?

Debts and loans are the same as borrowing money from a bank, and the bank will ask you as a borrower, how much collateral do you have? and if you have collateral but you fail to pay, then your collateral will be confiscated by the bank and controlled by the bank for some time until you can pay off your debt to the bank.

just like China helps many countries, and like the case of Sri Lanka, why has their port been confiscated by China for 99 years? because the port is a guarantee given by Sri Lanka to China if Sri Lanka fails to pay China. and also many Sri Lankan officials who carried out massive corruption, causing the Sri Lankan state to fail to pay its debts to China.

can they blame banks or China as lenders? while those who borrow actually feel right? keep moving forward for African countries and China.

I'm happy that we're having this debate and talking about the continent of Africa,  guess what China did during that period time, they doubled their diplomacy budget,  guess what else is happening for the first time, China has more consulates than the United States of America, General Kelly said either we do and get engaged in more diplomacy or you going to have to spend more money on bullets.

Good video. Agreed 100%. You sign deals with USA, you get us military bases and infrastructure to support it. You get little economy from US soldiers. You may get some old weapons at expensive prices. And you get 1000 different conditions that erode your sovereignty. Like they tell you you must do this or that.

You sign a deal with China, you get crucial infrastructure that you need, you get crucial technologies etc that are vital to the future of your country and continent. Like roads, rail, ports, power plants, communication networks etc. you get investment from Chinese companies who actually come to Africa and settle down there for the long run, hiring Africans. You get cheap Chinese goods, like smartphones and electric cars that you can afford and will change Africa and the whole society in the coming years.

Just see where China is today and where it came from. When modern China/PRC was founded in 1949, it was poorer and more technologically backwards than many African countries. Today china is a peer of usa in everything from economy to technology to militarily, and even leading in many crucial technologies.

That's not even going into the history of colonialism and oppression, which china was also an victim of to the west. Google hong Kong, opium wars, unequal treaties and century of humiliation if you are unfamiliar with the last 200-300 years of Chinese history. This is why China has always had a special affinity with Africa and always supported Africas anti colonial efforts. Africa has also supported China from the start, like at the UN and helped vote ROC/Taiwan out. And China has voted and helped Africa back in return. That partnership continues till today. China knows where it came from, and both recognized and helped each other when they both had nothing. This is why China does not have superiority complex and think they rule the world and can lecture others.

The west is not even worth talking about. They only care about Africa to stop China. If China wasn't there they would never care about Africa. Even today they are all talk. If they want to invest and help Africa, China welcomes it. But talk is cheap. Where is the money and where is the results? West can't even fund and develop their own infrastructure in their own countries. Uk, Germany, Japan etc are all in recession. USA road are bad, so is their rails. They don't have any high speed rail at all.

If you want war and coups and interference and lectures, call USA and west. If you want to rise up and improve your country and help your peoples, call china. No need to waste each other's time. China doesn't care if you want to get western puppet like japan, sk, Philippines etc. if you want to do win win business, China will still do it. That's why China has been so successful. They trade and do business with everyone. No lectures, no interference. They don't care what gov or system you have or what god you claim to worship. China is an old civilization, 5000 years continuous history and on top for the most part. They've seen it all and survived and still prospering today. They know how to play the game. If you want to learn how to be strong and develop and be advanced civilization, just watch and learn from China.

This is why the west and the US did not want their citizen to travel to China. 50 years ago, China was a poor country like Africa, but now it's a prosperous country. China is now aiming to assist not only Africa but also the entire world. To improve the standard of living for everyone worldwide. We all win and respect each other, there is no one-win or one-lose scenario.

The main difference between doing business with China is that China doesn't place conditions on Africa to not cooperate with the west as oppose to the west making demands on Africa to shun collaboration with China. Also, China doesn't waste millions each year just to badmouth the west in order to gain business advantage.

China and Africa have been trading for 600 years at least. Ethiopia’s Mombasa was an important port of a call for trade between China and before America even existed. Famous Admiral Zheng stopped by these ports also. Yet, no war or subjugation like the Western power. Just good ole trading is all and lived in contentment and peace. This says a lot.

As a Chinese person, if someone asks me about my impression of Africa or asks me to name an outstanding African figure, my first reaction would be Burkina Faso and Thomas Sankara.
To me, he represents the unyielding spirit of the African people and their dedication to improving society. Of course, there must be many more people like him among the African people.
I believe that the Africa of the future will be a force that cannot be ignored in changing the future world.
I hope that one day all the people of Africa will live a rich and abundant life, no longer be manipulated by the great powers, no longer be troubled by war, and no longer be enslaved and despised.?????????????????????????

Africa continent has 54 countries. Africa Unions all are living in harmony.
Africa can develop to become a big economy due to its young population.

China has 56 ethnic groups. With many Autonomous region. All living in harmony, common prosperity. 
President Xi say China has lifted 800 millions people out of poverty.

I remember finding you on TubeBuddy with only hundreds of views. I am a digital marketing director and knew you’d succeed. Although I put little time in my YouTube endeavors.

Anyways, impressed at your determination and perseverance. Your insight is valuable as not many of us (westerners) are able or knowledgeable enough to obtain well-rounded information without political-bias.

Getting a loan is one thing , how you use your loan is another matter. China does not interfere at  how a country uses the loan. I take a loan from a bank to do business , the bank is least interested & does not interfere how i use my money. Same with all financial institution around the world.

Firstly, Africa asking for development, hospitals, schools, ports, roads, railways, skills transfers, only mostly all the time, the West is not willing or not interested to take up long-term and high cost development projects.
Secondly, China's successful porverty elevation program highly motivated and studied by African countries.

非洲發展困難是因為土壤不適合種植，非洲大部分土地都是酸性的紅土地，最優質的土壤是黑土地，其次是紫土地和黃土地，比如說印度50%的土地就是黑土地，加上足夠的降雨量，讓印度可以養活世界20%的人口，而非洲的優勢是礦石資源，但是非洲沒有技術出口礦石，相似的比如越南的稀土礦，美國在稀土礦被中國出口製裁之後開始找越南出口稀土礦，但是越南沒有足夠的挖掘技術，導致供應量困難，所以，非洲的礦石資源最終利潤還是歸外國公司所有，這就是為什麽許多非洲國家的人均生產總值並不低於印度和中國，但這幾年還是接受著印度和中國的投資，而不是投資中國和印度

100's of year with USA and Western countries relationship have benefited their countries, to the detriment of the African Countries. USA and the West need the natural resources that African Countries have, to make their trillions of dollars of profit, but not to the African Countries they have exploited, leaving their Citizens living in poverty.
China comes along 10 years ago, and builds the African Countries trading infrastructures (AI Smart Robotic Ports, Railway networks, Freeways, Shopping precincts, etc) to increase the speed of their exported Natural resources, and to increase the Civic Commodities produced by their Natural resources, by China, to import back into their Countries at cheap, good quality commodities that the citizens of the African Country needed for all their Citizens to live a basic Middle Class Life style. It is a beautiful, symbiotic relationship ... not the parasitic relationship offered by USA and the West.

USA and the West have had a parasitic relationship with the African Countries, where they sucked their natural resources to grow and prosper, with the African Countries get deeper and deeper into poverty. USA and the West win, African Countries lose.
China offer a symbiotic relationship with the African Countries, where both countries prosper and grow with their citizens. African Countries export their Natural Resources to China; African Countries import good quality cheap commodities needed for all their citizens to live, at least, a basic Middle Class life style, like the rest of the world. China wins, African Countries win.
