Chapter Six - The End
After they got home, Hallie’s heart sank. She spotted Mom home going up the stairs, Phew! Mother probably has just arrived home. I have just enough time to climb through the window and pretend I was there all the time! Mallory thought exactly the opposite of what Hallie imagined. So they climbed through window and they both worried as IceFire and MoonFire were turning back into a guinea pig. Suddenly, Mom opened the door of Mallory’s room, where they were both huddled together.
“That’s weird! I just somehow remembered a story of 2 dragons, 3 little girls, and 1 fairy, when I imagined I just saw a shape of a dragon!” Mother said. Hallie looked down, she felt IceFire the guinea pig in her hands.
Hallie and Mallory both chuckled. Only Hannah stayed puzzled. That was a close one! Hallie thought, Mom saw IceFire and MoonFire transform! It probably had something to do with that strange ‘Oily Ice’!
“Do you want to hear the story?” Mom asked, Hannah nodded tiredly. “OK, Once upon a time, there were 3 girls, 2 were twins (both had guinea pigs), and the other one had horrible manners. Then, one day, they discovered their guinea pigs were…”
Hallie and Hannah both walk out of the room. Leaving Mallory to put up with the ‘story’, which was based on Hannah and the twins. They all had a very funny feeling that they know exactly what Mother would say…
