9/11:---請記住這個時刻

 

美國精神-----超越悲情，超越9-11

2001年9月11日，紐約世貿中心，

華盛頓五角大樓相續遭到恐怖襲擊。2996人喪生。其中包括超過90個不同國家的公民，舉世為之震驚。

美國人民蒙受了最大的創傷和悲痛。"9-11"

這一天變成了最黑暗的日子。

 

在那些令人心碎的日子裏，緊張，艱苦，危險的救援工作全麵展開，

紐約市的消防隊員們衝在最前麵，

他們在世貿北樓遭到攻擊後立即進入火場，

消防局在世貿一樓設立了臨時指揮中心，

消防隊員們爬樓梯進行救援，

很多消防隊員在未到指揮中心報到的情況下就立即展開了救援，

由於無線電通訊故障，

很多衝入火場的隊員無法準時接到撤離的命令，當大樓倒塌時，34

3名消防隊員英勇以身殉職。

 

一時間，愛國主義情緒空前高漲。消防員成了美國最受尊敬的職業，

9-11英雄們用他們的生命撫慰並鼓舞著受傷的美利堅民族。

帶給我們更多的是堅持，是信念。拜登副總統說到：

這些恐怖襲擊激發了全新的一代-----9.11一代，

他們誕生，就在這裏，就在9.11那一天。

就像激揚的共和國戰歌所唱的："她已吹響那決不召喚退卻的號角。

。。。。。"，布什引用了前美國總統林肯的話;"

懂得犧牲的代價"這些都更加深刻和全麵的詮釋"美國精神"。

 

十五年過去了，我們沒有忘記9-11，沒有忘記我們的英雄，

他們在蔚藍的天空裏，在巍峨的群山中，在遼闊的大地上，

永遠的注視著我們，祝福著我們，保護著我們，與我們同在，

與美利堅同在。

 

英雄不朽 天佑美國！

這是著名旅美畫家楊億曆時五年所創作的大型組畫"英雄禮讚"和"日日夜夜"長卷作品的局部，真實的記錄了那個令人心痛的時刻，表現出畫家心中對英雄的禮讚和敬仰之情，同時也懷著對和平的渴望，目的是希望人們不要忘記這些在和平年代，為搶救傷員而奮不顧身英勇捐軀的英雄，珍惜和平的日子和生活.正如"紐約消防員之友"雜誌總監卡波恩（Nancy Carbone)說的："藝術家楊億的作品不僅是對我們在9/11中逝去的英雄禮讚，也是對那些每天仍然在為了保護我們的安全而不懈忘我工作的人們的致敬"。下麵是在ABC Facebook 上美國觀眾看了ABC國家電視台專訪畫家楊億時的留言。
