炮竹聲中一歲除，

春風送暖入屠蘇。

千門萬戶曈曈日，

 

總把新桃換舊符。

 

The sound of firecrackers ends the year of sheep,

 

Enjoy the warmly spring winds, we drink home-made wine

and delicious soup.

 

The rising sun makes the couplets even bright,

 

They display our new year wishers and future hope.
