這樣的感恩節不是第一次了。
今年在飯桌上才捋清楚，去年就是我們三個在家過的。前年，我在北京陪媽媽，他們父女和Deb在家過的。大前年，應該是我們三個在芝加哥？再以前的，就更記不清了。。我們都在Andrew 家過，Rick還在？還有一年，我們都在馬裏蘭的飯店過的？在老大的租房裏過，那時她剛從海外回來還是出發之前？
這些年來，我們操辦的，老大經手的，老二主持的火雞大餐，各有特色。我們的更傳統，她們的更有新意。不曾想這一年一次的火雞餐，不管誰操持，風格如何，也不管人多人少，在家在外，都已經在記憶中沉澱為滋潤人心的溫馨，陪我們度過漫漫冬夜，令我們翹首期盼下一個金秋。。
在我的要求下，提前收到了一份聖誕禮物。A Promised Land。
