Apple Inc. (AAPL) increased its share of U.S. smartphone subscribers in the three months ended January as the total number of U.S. users of the handsets topped 100 million for the first time, ComScore Inc. (SCOR) said today.
Apple devices accounted for 29.5 percent of U.S. smartphones, on average, in the period up from 28.1 percent in the prior three months, Reston, Virginia-based researcher ComScore said in a statement today.
