【專輯介紹】

　　R&B（Rhythm Blues）就是黑人的搖滾樂——節奏布魯斯，又稱節奏藍調。R&B起源於黑人的Blues，吸取了Slul音樂和福音歌曲的根源性精華，交相輝映，尤其是融合了白人主流樂釧的流行因素後，製作加工更為專業嚴謹、精致多彩。這樣在博取了種族音樂的長處後又在受眾（包括黑人、白人）拓寬認同的基礎上顯露出本色與優勢。隨著商業化的普及和成功，R&B最終在20世紀的50年代有Billboard告示牌上一躍成為種首長音樂Race的代名詞。不得不提的是由精明能乾的唱片製作人兼歌曲家Berry Gordy一手在底特律建立的R&B王國：Motown摩城唱片公司的橫空出世與推波助瀾。率先推出R&B是因為它在當今歐美流行樂壇權威而廣泛的支柱地位，也是國內的歐美樂迷最為熟悉的音樂類型。中國的頭號R&B新銳明星周傑倫說了沒有聽過Usher的稱不上聽過 R&B，而我想說的是：沒有聽過本集、看過本書的才真的是稱不上領略享受過R&B的魅力與真諦。本書是一部鮮活的R&B的曆史，而不是歌曲的隨意抓取拚湊。從Ray char les、James Brown到R.Kelly、Scott到Toni braxton再到Alicia Keys；從Marvin Gaye、Luther Vandross、Stevie Wonder到Lionel Ritchie、Michael jackson再到Prince；從Smokey Robinson到Babyface，大家可從時空縱橫的度見證R&B演進的軌跡：是一種用豁達的生命熱情、樂觀的生活意誌澆灌而成的通達之路，通往性的自我釋放、精神的解放與靈魂的自由。
