　　呂繼宏是我的哥們兒，我卻很少當著他的麵聽他唱歌，假如在卡拉 OK 裏，繼宏總是給我“伴唱”，給大家“伴唱”，一點都不像一個歌唱家。有他在的時候，笑聲從來就沒有斷過，而且是一種放鬆的快樂，繼宏長著一張善良的笑臉，不笑的時候也感覺在笑，可能是心在笑……
　　我從來不直接的誇他唱歌，一旦誇起來自己甚至都覺得假，畢竟認識的時候，都是嘴上沒毛的小夥子，今天還一樣，我們以“插科打諢”的方式代替著對彼此的欣賞，而我對他卻有一種從來沒有說出來過的尊重，唱得好歌和做得好人的人值得這樣的尊重，歌如其人，人如其歌。
　　我總是會不經意的要兩張他的 CD，邊打趣他在封麵的“新造型”，邊悄悄的收著：一張放車裏，一個人開車的時候聽，另一張放家裏，也是一個人坐在沙發上發呆的時候聽，這個時候我的心緒格外的安靜，你會發現他的聲音原來可以這樣?..

　　聽呂繼宏唱的民歌，是一種酣暢痛快的享受，就是這樣一位酣暢實誠的西北漢子，為我們帶來他高亢嘹亮、深情、真摯的好噪音，唱出一首首地道精華的陝北“花朵”，從熱情奔放的《花兒與少女》、到經典民歌《上去高山望平川》，還有甘肅積石山宴席曲《恭喜曲》，呂繼宏的演唱極富表現力，首先是他熟悉甘肅的環境，能以最地道的語言、語氣、唱腔來表現作品的魅力。如《一灣灣流水》，呂繼宏熱情火熱的歌聲，滾燙的演唱，有很強的吸引力。“花兒”是很難唱的民歌形式，定調高、變音多、變化大，旋律跨度大，而呂繼宏越唱越好聽，他的聲音有很強的穿透力，熱情、飽滿、集中，發音通暢，藝術體驗豐富，演唱水準很高！呂繼宏的高音音質透亮華美，很輕易就唱上去了，發聲位置在胸腔，聲帶閉合得非常好，聲音很幹淨，他的氣息、聲音、發音的支撐做得非常好，演唱民歌就自然唱得很得心應手，專業味濃。《花兒飄香》是呂繼宏和作曲家楊絢合作整理陝北民歌的成果，選題、創意、演唱、藝術表現都做得很好。但唯一遺憾的是沒能用上原汁原味的民族交響樂隊伴奏，在藝術效果上要更上一層樓，這樣才稱得上為經典永恒的有紀念收藏價值的“終極發燒名碟”。
　　這張專輯的成功出版，標誌著我國民族聲樂的演唱教學研究上取得新的階段性成果：科學的發聲、科學的訓練、科學的繼承民族民歌遺產、科學的演唱，"中國民族聲樂學派"的不斷發展、成熟。
