Great-grandpa

My mom’s maternal grandpa had seven children with my grandma the second after a son and the only surviving daughter. He must have adored his only daughter dearly because, according to my mom, he never referred my grandma by name, instead, he called her Miss Second (er4 xiao3 jie3) even after my grandma had had children of her own. Of course, I have never got a chance to meet him, not even seen his pictures. But, I would love to meet him if time came around to let our lives cross. Maybe I should ask for his pictures next time visiting China from one of my uncles, the son of his oldest son.
