這是一集特別打動我的刺繡。做這集的過程中我意識到下麵幾點。
一個是在衣裳裏，真正的手工刺繡幾近消失，取而代之的是珠片，寶石，貝殼，羽毛，和絲娟繡的鑲嵌。因為這些材料可以做得較小，所以做出來的效果隻要不近看，幾乎可以媲美刺繡。同時和把一根絲線劈成幾十甚至上百根細絲而做出的刺繡相比，這些材料對工藝和對眼睛的要求則要小不少，因而成本和價格也就能夠大幅度降低。價格低了效果也不差，何樂而不為呢？所以真正的手工刺繡正在從衣裳裏消失。
第二點是刺繡的極大感染力。因為真正的刺繡作品比較少，尤其是近五年裏的，也因為上麵說到的亂真的緣故，做這一集花了一些功夫，需要放大圖片來看。找到的刺繡作品不少，但在最後篩選的過程中，越到後來越不能平靜，非常打動我，這是做了這麽多集花裳都沒有感受到的，我意識到好的刺繡的極大感染力。
第三點是刺繡的表現力本身。和上一集的錦緞類似，刺繡是傳統的工藝，同時刺繡的題材和花案設計可以非常有民族特點。和錦緞不同的是刺繡的工藝空間非常大。還記得去蘇州時看到很多作品都是買來同一塊印製的底布來繡。在不同的精品屋能看到同一底布，但不同的繡娘繡出的作品其差別卻幾乎可以是天上地下，好的作品充滿了靈性，攝人心魄。所以說刺繡在表現力上大有馳騁空間。
對於純刺繡作品來說是這樣，而今天因為需要做多於一件來賣，在衣服上的刺繡作品幾乎多數都是機繡完成。很多是事先繡好然後縫到衣服上。機器當然沒有一位好的繡娘更有靈性，所以評價機繡作品我覺得主要在刺繡的花案設計，同時結合衣服式樣本身的設計來看總體效果。衣服中刺繡的花案應當都是設計師的作品，繡製或鑲製以及做工則應當取決於成本。

總結一下，這些作品來自英，法，比利時，意大利，和美國等地的時裝品牌。設計師中好像是以英國人和法國人為最多。應當說時裝界刺繡背後的實力較量，不光是才華，同時也是資金的較量。
