根據網友bustout的帖子,我將川普行政當局到3月18日為止應對新冠病毒的主要舉措列了一個表,供大家參考。

列這個表的目的,一是幫助我們了解川普當局在應對新冠病毒方麵,迄今為止到底做了什麽;二是展示一個有鮮明美國特色的應對重大公共衛生危機的戰略策略全景;三是有利於我們在美生活、工作、學習的華人華僑及留學生了解相關的政策、保障我們自己的合法權益。

有網友說,川普政府在3月13日宣布全國緊急狀態之前基本上沒做什麽,這是非常不公平的。舉個例子:思蘆網友在“美國為什麽不用世衛組織的試劑?”(https://bbs.wenxuecity.com/currentevent/2057953.html)一文中指出, 美國在1月份就已開發出自己的高靈敏度、高準確度的試劑盒,CDC在1月18日至2月23日期間即已檢測了1千多人的2620個樣本。而這裏的表格,也顯示出在3月13日前已經出台了諸多重要的決策和舉措。

美國是一個民主社會,主流媒體輿論以監督批評政府為天職,社會對政府表達不滿意,是自然而然和正常的。為應對新冠病毒,川普一方麵采取了許多切實的行動,但他是一個天生的大嘴巴,他同時又使用了不太適當的言辭表達以期望降低公眾的恐慌情緒。但是,美國股市的狂跌,顯示出他的安撫暫時還沒有起到作用。接下來,人們要看美國政府現在這一套“精準檢測、重點治療、家庭隔離、social distancing、保障生活、盡量維持社會生產和工作節奏”的組合措施能否有效抑製病毒的擴散、會在多大程度對美國的經濟造成影響。
