The Nest

Some people are capable of
building a nest with lies
making others so believing
even with their dreams dwelling in it
ready to fly
or fall for it

We built the nest one twig at a time
preludes with details, poems
and living in the cloud
or by the garden down on earth
is the only possible outcome
whatever you like to call

If you like birds
their chirping are real music
If you wake up in early morning before dawn
and try to sleep through a school of birds
singing for the new day
could sound like many kids arguing nonstop
just enough to keep you awake
until you have to get up
