Sadness

Sadness germinates
from the heart of night
where the past has engraved
the unhealable scar
as deep as your memory could grind

Sadness roots
from the biggest disappointment:
The love we could not hold on to
Nothing we could have done
if it was not given to us by the closest

If one gives more love
one does get more back
even to the degree to ease the sadness

If one hates the unfairness we could not change
one incurs the blames to the innocents
it only worsens the sadness

Sadness could be the shadow
of happiness if we are born to keep it
But if your make your happiness radiant
sadness just could not take over
