Our baby girl is 17 weeks and 5 days now!
When the clinic phoned yesterday, I was away from my desk. I had to phone back to learn the test result. When I was phoning the clinic and being put on hold, my heart was racing and I could not breathe as I thought that something might be wrong with our beautiful baby.
Everything was fine. Suddenly I became so happy. That was very dramatic - from being terrified to being ecstatic within a minute.
We got the amnio result back yesterday. Baby is normal and there is no generic abnormality. It's a baby girl! It has been a very stressful 17 weeks with the pregnancy.
