您一定還記得新世紀音樂大師喬治溫斯頓的《森林》《秋季》《辭冬》等專輯裏散發出的大自然的清新與芳香，而這張《夜之邊緣》是他在音樂風格上的新嚐試。

這張名為「George Winston-Night divides the day The music of the doors 」，顧名思義整張專輯皆以六零年代知名的The Doors合唱團的作品為主軸（理所當然的多半為主唱Jim Morrison的經典之作），喬治溫斯頓不但在出版前先交給了鍵盤手Ray Manzarek聽過，Ray Manzarek更以「Great work」-偉大的作品來描述聽完George Winston演奏的感受。

以一個迷幻搖滾團體的作品作為對象來說，鋼琴獨奏的重新演繹是有相當大的困難的，然而這當中，喬治溫斯頓還是彈出了佳作，「「Light my fire」」、「riders on the storm」、「Love street」┅甚至專輯到了後大半部，幾乎是到了首首精髓盡出、聞後落淚的情況。此外，「summer’s almost gone」的憂傷哀愁、「Bird of prey」的冷洌印象等等，就算在「December」裏的卡農變奏曲是如此的經典，但George Winston顯然在這張「George Winston-Night divides the day The music of the doors 」，又一次把鋼琴的詮釋做了超越的示範。
