　　Eagles成立於1971加州，樂隊共有七位成員，分別是Don Henley(鼓手，主唱)，Glenn Frey(吉他，鍵盤，主唱),Bernie Leadon(吉他)，Randy Meisner（貝斯），Don Felder(吉他，鍵盤)，Joe Walsh( 吉他，合成器)和Timothy B.Schmit(貝斯)。他們以鄉村搖滾，加州搖滾在1972-81年間風靡全球。
　　《The Complete Greatest Hits》兩張一套精選共收錄33首歌曲並以專輯出版先後順序按年代排列。第一張CD收錄了成名曲《Take It Easy》，常被翻唱的《Desperado》首支冠軍《Best Of My Love》，著名招牌菜《Hotel California》等17首，第二張是1976年以後的暢銷曲《New Kid In Town》，《 Heartache Tonight》，《I Can’t Tell You Why》等16首。有三首最值得注意：1978年的單曲《Please Come Home For Christmas》，1980年現場演唱會單曲《Seven Bridges Road》，以及2003年洛杉磯三間錄音室完成的全新單曲《Hole In The World》。
