The main benefit of being wealthy is the ability to choose

The main benefit of being wealthy is that you can choose what ever you want to do, and what ever you want to learn  and do not have to worry about money.  Why only limit your choice to only two paths?  Making more money  should not be the explicit goal. If that is the goal, you have reached the goal post.
