戰暑-Battling the Heat

晌午藍天下，飄髯揮拍人。

狂奔鞭狡兔，細削舞綸巾。

聲隆如擊鼓，汗滴似燒薪。

人謂翁飆壯，自知膝痛真。

歸來彌勒坐，對帖攏鬚茵。

 

Beneath the noon's azure sky,
A bearded man swings his racket high.

Chasing the ball in flight,
Dancing with his scarf so light.

Groaning like thundering in the air,
Sweat drips as burning fuel's glare.

They praise the old man's fiery might,
Yet his aching knees know the true plight.

Returning home, he sits at ease,
Combing his beard facing ink breeze.
