箴言28.12-19

When the righteous triumph, there is great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, men go into hiding. He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy. Blessed is the man who always fears the LORD, but he who hardens his heart falls into trouble. Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked man ruling over a helpless people. A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment, but he who hates ill-gotten gain will enjoy a long life. A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him. He whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but he whose ways are perverse will suddenly fall. He who works his land will have abundant food, but the one who chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.

 義人得誌，有大榮耀；惡人興起，人就躲藏。  遮掩自己罪過的，必不亨通；承認離棄罪過的，必蒙憐恤。 常存敬畏的，便為有福；心存剛硬的，必陷在禍患裏。 暴虐的君王轄製貧民，好象吼叫的獅子、覓食的熊。 無知的君多行暴虐；以貪財為可恨的，必年長日久。 背負流人血之罪的，必往坑裏奔跑，誰也不可攔阻他。 行動正直的，必蒙拯救；行事彎曲的，立時跌倒。 耕種自己田地的，必得飽食；追隨虛浮的，足受窮乏。
