I received friend D’s email a couple of days ago, we lost contact for three years and he finally found us again. He’s well settled in Illinois now. He promised to be basketball coach for our kids when he lived in the same city with us, after he saw our recent family pictures, his comments had some kind professional points:

No.3 looks tough, may play power forward at family hoops. #2 and #1 are good buddy. #2 looks like a smart point guard. #1 looks moving quickly with high percent shooting.

D will have another boy in this fall, if the five boys meet sometime in the future, they definitely can play a basketball game then. ^_^

As to the basketball, I thought a funny thing about #2. He’s very interested in watching basketball games under the impacts of his daddy and brother starting this year. He’s able to illustrate a lot of star’s names and their numbers. His favorite NBA star is Shaquille O'Neal and college basketball star is Duke’s JJ Redick. When we watched NBA finals between Dallas ’s Mavericks and Miami ’s Heat this year, he always said “Biscuit is very good.” We didn’t pay attention to “Biscuit” first b/c we had thought what he said was “biscuit”, with the times he mentioned “Biscuit” more, we realized that he’s talking about a basketball player not the “biscuit”. It ended up that what his saying biscuit is Dirk NOWITZKI – Mavericks’s good shooting star from the Germany !

無獨有偶，我也想起了我的一件童年笑話，我上幼兒園時，有天班上來了位小朋友叫“孫夫梅”，我那時沒聽清就自以為是地叫人家“蜂窩煤”，還跟人家玩兒的很好，回家“蜂窩煤”長“蜂窩煤”短的，我媽心裏直嘀咕，怎末一個小姑娘叫這名字呢，第二天跟老師打聽才弄明白。看樣子二寶也繼承了媽媽的衣缽啦。 ^_^
