Pau Casals , December 29, 1876 – October 22, 1973), sometimes known as Pablo Casals,^[3][4][5][6] was a cellist and conductor from Catalonia, Spain. 

• El cant dels ocells ("Song of the Birds"), a traditional Catalan song. Later arranged for cello by cellist Pablo Casals and routinely played by him as an encore to protest the Franco regime in Spain.
