"Don't Rain On My Parade" is a popular song from the 1964 musical Funny Girl. It was also featured in the 1968 movie version of the musical. The song was written by Bob Merrill and Jule Styne. Both the movie and stage versions feature Barbra Streisand performing the song. The song was also covered by Bobby Darin in 1966 and by Japan in 1978.
Trivia The song was covered by British pop group Japan on their debut album "Adolescent Sex" in 1978.
This song was used as figure skater Sasha Cohen's exhibition music during the 2005-2006 season.
The Bobby Darin version was also recently (2006/2007) used in Vauxhall advert in the UK, featuring cars doing synchronised stunts.
It is featured in the movie American Beauty.
The final nine contestants on the British reality TV show How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria? also sung it during one of the live shows.
