荷蘭第八十六屆塔塔鋼鐵國際象棋大賽烏茲別克棋手，中國棋手韋奕，印度棋手古克石
在加拿大多倫多舉行的世界冠軍候選人資格賽中國女棋手重慶人特級大師譚中怡贏得女子國際象棋世界冠軍候選人大賽，取得同現任女子世界冠軍上海人特級大師居文君舉行女子世界冠軍對抗賽，比賽將在今年十一月至十二月份分別在上海和重慶舉行。譚中怡曾經奪得女子世界冠軍，後被居文君擊敗，這是她第二次同居文君爭奪世界冠軍。但世界最重要的冠軍是男子世界冠軍，年僅十七歲的印度棋手特級大師古克石奪得世界冠軍候選人資格賽冠軍，出乎我們預料，他也將同中國棋手現任世界冠軍丁立人進行世界冠軍對抗賽，比賽也將在今年十一月至十二月份分別在中國和印度舉行或者在歐洲美國。韋奕問鼎中國第三屆華頤杯，這是繼韋奕奪得荷蘭第八十六國際象棋(Chess)大賽（二〇二四年一月十二日至二十八日）又一桂冠！祝賀！
印度小將古克石在長達十四局八人世界冠軍賽候選人資格賽奪冠創造曆史，比賽從四月五日開始至二十四日，八名棋手十四局比賽，兩名美國棋手中村光、卡魯阿納，一個俄國人涅波姆尼亞奇、一個法國人費魯賈，一個阿塞拜疆人阿巴索夫，三名印度人古克石、維迪特、普拉格納南達。古克石五勝八和一負九分奪冠晉級，等級分大漲二十分，超過丁立人，成為世界第六，有兩名印度棋手進入世界排名前十。而賽前被看好的等級分也是最高的中村光、涅波姆尼亞奇、卡魯阿納8.5分第2名至第4名。女子也是八名棋手十四局比賽，譚中怡5勝8和1負九分晉級，與居文君再度爭奪棋後，等級分上漲19分，達2540為曆史新高。另一個中國棋手也是重慶人雷挺婕第十二局後落後老鄉譚中怡一分處於第二，想力爭贏得第十三局和老鄉同分，最後加快棋決賽，所以才孤注一擲，用力過猛，結果兩局先後負於兩名印度棋手科內魯和瓦莎麗，最終排名第三。賽前被看好的俄國棋手頭號種子戈爾亞奇金娜第五。科內魯、雷挺婕、瓦莎麗7.5分第二，第三和第四，戈爾亞奇金娜7分第五，俄國拉諾6.5分第六。值得一提的是印度棋手瓦莎麗四連敗後五連勝。
中國第三屆華頤杯衛冕冠軍韋奕與馬群一路過關斬將會師冠亞軍決賽，韋奕以3比1的比分贏下了決賽輪，成功蟬聯冠軍，並獲得了16萬元冠軍獎金。馬群獲得亞軍，獎金8萬元。三四名決賽在餘泱漪與小將薛皓文之間展開，在半決賽遺憾負於馬群的餘泱漪迅速調整狀態，在決賽中以三連勝強勢戰勝本屆比賽中的黑馬小將薛皓文，獲得季軍。小將薛皓文獲得殿軍，作為唯一一位闖入決賽的非種子棋手，薛皓文在本屆比賽中的表現可圈可點，目前正在高中就讀的他談到此次比賽經曆時表示：“這次冠軍賽對我來說一次很好的鍛煉機會，也讓我感受到了跟特級大師之間的差距。在半決賽中，韋奕對陣本次比賽最大的黑馬薛皓文，談及這位小對手，韋奕給予了充分的肯定，他說：“我非常欣賞薛皓文的棋風，他是個非常不怕輸的棋手，當然很多年輕棋手都是這個風格，但在他身上表現的更為明顯。這次比賽對他來說是很好的鍛煉和總結的機會，希望他能繼續努力提升棋藝。” 最終比賽結果：https://chess-results.com/tnr919501.aspx?lan=1&art=4

四月一日國際棋聯公布等級分排名現任世界棋王丁立人排名第五，韋奕排在第十位，中國有兩名棋手位列前十名。五月份女子榜單前世界冠軍侯逸凡第一，現任女子世界冠軍居文君排名世界第二，雷挺婕排名第三，譚中怡排名第六。中國男棋手除韋奕外，這幾年沒有出現年輕的超級棋手了。反觀印度出了很多年輕的超級棋手不到二十歲，未來是印度棋手的天下！就如同過去二十世紀下半葉蘇聯棋手一樣。美國、俄國、中國和歐洲棋手恐怕隻能屈居下風了？拭目以待。如果要關注中國年輕棋手，請注意肖同和薛皓文，兩人都是生於二〇〇八年的。另外女子棋手最引人注目的是年僅十四歲的女孩鹿妙夷，世界女子青年組排名第二，四月份的等級分是2438分，去年有一局對局轟動整個互聯網，網上國際象棋主要博主都分析講解了。她的母親是前女子青年世界冠軍徐媛媛。

瑞典馬爾默大賽女子世界冠軍居文君應邀參賽四月二十七日至五月三日：The Limhamn Chess Club is proud to invite the players, the chess community, the media and the sponsors to the 29th annual Tepe Sigeman Chess Tournament. The tournament will take place April 27-May 3 this year, at the Elite Plaza Hotel in central Malmo. Eight players will play seven rounds, and the field will once again be one of the strongest ever, and perhaps also the most interesting! The home team is, as usual, represented by Sweden’s number one, GM Nils Grandelius (winner in 2013, 2017 and 2018). Among the opponents are last year’s winner and multiple World Championship contender, GM Peter Svidler, the current women’s world champion, GM Wenjun Ju, China, and GM Anton Korobov, Ukraine.
