　  地球人神秘的消失，突然又出現不明飛行物，4400個被外星人綁架的地球人命運如何呢？
　　故事講述近百年來有不少人被外星人TAKEN，在2004年7月的一天，美國國家安全局發現一顆慧星高速的飛向地球，危及地球人安全。全球各國（包括中國）都向該慧星發射導彈欲摧毀之。結果沒有任何作用，最後慧星在上圖中那個湖邊降落，一陣迷霧散開之後，湖邊出現4400個不同年代被 TAKEN的人，而且他們都完好的保持著各自年代裏被TAKEN時的原樣。最終當這4400人走向社會時，卻發現他們有著超乎常人的特異功能。這些人曾去了哪兒？又怎麽回來的？為什麽會有特異功能？為什麽是4400個人？他們最終會給地球帶來怎麽的變化？或者這是一個外星人的實驗？或者是來自未來的拯救行動？一切的疑問，都在劇集中……
