to the paediatrician's office,Jan.8,2013

I took baby to her paediatrician for her one year old vaccine shots today.Daddy was too busy with work to attend.We met Norah and her daddy,grandma there.We waited for about an hour before we could see the doctor.Baby was checked overall first. She was doing well with height,weight, just there was one concern with her speech and language development-she does not say mom,dad, although she was saying those when she was 7 or 8 months old but she is not saying them these days. And she is not saying anything meaningful. All she does is the babbling. Dr.refered us to see a speech and language therapist which I need to call to make an appt. It will do no harm to have the specialist's opinion. I think.Then it was the drama scene.She was crying like a river just lying down on the exam bed-she was crying even harder when the needle hit her thighs. They are painful,the nurse told me. Two shots on both legs. Poor baby. Thank God it was done fast.We shall come back in two weeks for the follow up shots. Then in six weeks for the follow up check.
