【故事梗概】

以楚漢這段曆史為背景，多側麵、多角度地表現了劉邦和項羽從聯手抗秦到分庭抗禮直至最後劉邦戰勝項羽建立大漢王朝的故事。

項羽出身貴族，劉邦為卑微平民，兩人合力起義反秦。但由於劉項各懷野心、各有自己的擁護者，因此大家的友誼亦備受考驗。秦被推翻後，群雄互動乾戈，劉項亦不再稱兄道弟，楚漢爭霸由此展開……最後，劉邦登基為帝，呂雉也將圓皇後之夢，兩人以魯公、魯夫人禮厚葬項羽和虞姬。舉喪之日，劉邦夫婦回想昔日與項羽、虞姬相處情景，禁不住百感交集，心中隱隱失落。但這一切很快被曆史煙雲遮蔽。
