I Want To Be A Book i want to be a book to cover your innocent nakedness of the soul to keep you warm and safe from the cold night every page in its earthy nature will drink every pearl of your tear the morning dew in your dream every word a hand to answer your gentle touch the way a word should be caressed for i have nothing to give you but the stars on the dome of my night [art by chagall]
