小女人續集

前麵給大家介紹了我認識的小女人 - 好朋友 Jean， 今天有想繼續上次的內容加點續集。。。

好朋友Jean又在一個月內完成了一艘美麗的木船的製作，昨天有幸被邀請參加了此船的下水儀式。也榮幸認識了她的不少小手工業的愛好者，他們把業餘愛好提升到了最佳境界。用先進的科技給自己的設計和製作添鷹加翅，他們用的不少木匠機器比一輛豪車都貴，可他們平時的日子都過的很節儉，真是做到了叫花子耍大刀，該出手時就出手。是我欣賞的灑脫生活風格。那個小船是大船縮小四倍的模型。Jean的模型船製作是在美國很有名氣的行家，給自己造船玩純屬玩到了瘋狂的風口浪尖上。牛！就因為喜歡造船，把家都按在了湖邊，家裏大大小小有八艘船了，還在繼續造船中。也好，我們去她家劃船時還可以艦隊比賽。是不是真的很牛！

This beautiful boat build by Jean Preckel, She started building it in April and finished in September, 2019. The wood she used is paulownia which came from a friend who lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. The boat is dark 
green on the bottom, light green on the cap rail and the inside is varnished. there are 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of varnish. The name of the boat is Tinkerbell. 

There were more than 30 people at the launching party at 9/14/2019.

The steps to build a boat are:
 1) set up the frames, stem and transom (build it upside-down)
 2) put the bottom on
 3) attach the planking 
 4) turn it over
 5) put on the gunwale, cap rail and seats
 6) paint and varnish

She also made the model of this boat with four times smaller than this real boat, they both are beautiful and very valuable.   Well done Jean!
