Deviation from the original direction

Since last meeting with supervisor, he seems not satisfied with the current analytical result. So he suggested that try a different analysis method: MCFT not ABAQUS. These month I have been working on it but seems the preliminar result is not so encouraging, my co-supervisor give me some hints but seems deviated from the original direction. Alas, so sad!
