Relaxed learning--Skating

Today is family night. One adult can take one child under 16 for free. I took Amy for skating. Sarah is too busy with her school work. She did not go.
I have been in this city for many years. I know that ice rink many years ago. However, I only skate couple of times before. I could only walk on ice. I need to be concious all the time for not falling down. I rember that once I feel down and hurt my thumb very hard. From that on, I wear a glove whenever I do skating. I do not want hurt my thumb again because it took me several month to recover.
Last year, I took Amy and Sarah to skate a lot. I changed my mindset for skating. I try to get familiar with the ice. I walk, slide, jump, run on ice. I try new tricks when I saw one. I try to feel the flow, the smoothness of the move. It is enjoying. I took the altitude that falling is good because we are learning, exploring.new thing.
This year, I can skate from the beginning. The first time of skating is already surpass last year. I feel total free on ice. I can to anything, jumping, running, backwards, forwards, crossover, stop, turning etc. I even played jump rope and hulahup on ice. I fell several times. I did not get hurt too much. The hurt is only temperory. My whole body is alive. It reveals a law of learning skills---relaxed learning.
