Who has the most inluence to our kids?

What is the most effect way of influence our children? I would like to say lead by examples. We are the most effective role model of our children. Usually, the influence of our family is the most significant to our children. It should be  a critical factor to consider for marriage. If a person is from a very good, understanding, loving, caring family, the person's personality will not be bad. If a person is from a disfunctional family, most likely his/her personality will be a problem. There are too many examples. If you observe carefully, you will be able to find a great deal of examples around you.
My personality is largely formed by my mother's influence although I possess some of my father's character. My mother is a very common women working in countryside in a small villiage. She only had about half year of school and she could not read, write. She is constantly working, moving. She devoted all her life to the family, to kids. She has no complains at all. She is humble, caring, sharing. Everybody say that she is a good person. She is taking care of my father who has been sick for couple of years. My father and mother did not say love each other. However, I know that they are caring about each other from their heart. My father told people that he will comfortable only with my mother's caring. However, my mother sometimes is very strong, no fear if she is disturbed by unfairness. She is one of the most courageous people I saw. She is willing to to anything to protect her children, neibour and relatives.
I would like to lead my children by my example. Sarah now is in her teenage year. Sometimes she could not understand me and would not cooperate with me. However, I just show and give her my unconditional love. I always keep my promises. I am struggling for my improvement. I have the determination to overcome my stuttering problem. She can observe, feel my heart. She will get the couragement, determination, persistency. She will also pick up my nuderstanding, open minded, possitive character and altitude. I am nurturing a loving, caring, learning environment. Everybody in my family like to read. My little Amy like to read, listen to my stories. The computer game she like to play is learning games and the movie she like to watch is learning movies.
Lead by example is the best way of influence our kids. Parents have detrimental roles for kids' morale and character development. They might not believe what we told them, howver, they do believe what we are doing and have done. If we are consistent in our words and conduct, we wiil be more respected and followed by our kids. Our altitude to life, to family and to marriage has great impact on our kids. If we want our kids to be serious in life, marriage, we should be serious in those endeavors. My mother has done it to me. I will do it for my kids.
