永不言棄

    人生得意須盡歡，那人生不得意，又該當如何呢？更何況人生不得意，十之八九。

    與大家共同分享一首我特別喜歡的勵誌的小詩。每當我覺得沮喪懊惱、難過壓抑的時刻，或者說，每當我需要鼓舞、需要慰籍的時刻，我就會反複地大聲地讀一讀這首詩。

    是它趕走惆悵焦躁，使我恢複寧靜理性的心緒；
    是它在迷途困境中給我指航，令我一次次再度鼓起勇氣；
    是它一直溫柔而堅定地叮囑我，“加油，永不言棄”！

    曾有不少人宣稱某某是這首詩的作者，但至今尚無考證。無論是誰，這位無名的作者是值得銘記的，隻願你、我、他都能喜歡這首美麗的，鼓舞人心的小詩。我不是學翻譯的，因為很喜歡，自己便試著翻成了中文。做不到信、雅、達的高標準，僅僅希望詞能達意。

    席慕蓉在《渡口》裏說，“就把祝福別在襟上吧，而明日，明日又隔天涯。”也把我的祝福別在衣襟上送給你，我的朋友，在失意的時刻，請你永遠也別放棄！

Don't Quit!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit -

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

As every one of us sometimes learns,

And many a fellow turns about

When he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don't give up though the pace seems slow -

You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than

It seems to a faint and faltering man;

Often the struggler has given up

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,

It may be near when it seems afar,

So stick to the light when you're hardest hit -

每走一步都不容易，

失敗隻源於你的放棄，

堅持到底，相信終會勝利，
