This is a Journey

I'm not an American, and never will be. I'm not a Chinese any more either. Somewhere in between, I found this group of people.

Write something happy every day!

(2006-10-24 23:14:58) 下一個
Growing up, I would turn to my Diary whenever I am at loss for a friend; whenever I'm sad; whenever I want to make "five year plan".  Diary is almost synoname to mood songs.

At age 35, the need to write something happy every day jumps out one day, and totaly kicked the butt of "sad movie" days.  In retrospect, maybe that means you are grown, and the burden of life is felt.  It's now necessary to count our blessings in life.

Little Piggy has something fun to say.  "中文“ is Chinese for Chinese, and "Chinese" is Chinese in English :-)

On the way out from her school's Family Night, she said it loud to her self with much satisfaction and a little tiredness: That was a neat party!

Little Piggy has recently changed to a new school.  She started this idea herself.  One day three months ago, she entered the car and commented to me: I don't like the Pre-K room.  She was not in that class room yet.  " Really?  Why?"  I was visiting today for after school care.  The Pre-K room does not have any windows.  I can't see outside, the clouds, the weather and every thing..."  "But you are going to move to that room in a couple of months you know?"  "I know.  But I don't like it."  I thought it was just her comment, and she might forget the comment soon.

She moved to that class room a couple of months ago, and she starts the same comment again, several times a week.  I starts to take note of it, and begin to think I might need to switch her to a different school.

Little piggy was a part of the whole inspection and decision making process.  She switched school three weeks ago.  She often comment to me on our drive home : "Sorry, I haven't made a friend yet..."  " I know the names of six kids' name now."  I asked her a couple of days ago.  "You said you like your other school's playground and gym better.  Do you still think it was a good move to switch to your school now?"

"Yes, Mommy.  I still think that was a good move."
