【內容簡介】：
　　當代都市的大學校園內，研究生痞子蔡一直渴望能擁有一份真誠的愛情，但事與願違，他與女孩的交往屢屢失敗，令他頗不自信。而痞子蔡的同室好友阿泰卻情場得意，揮灑自如地遊戲在眾多女孩當中。
　　一次偶然的機會，痞子蔡在BBS上的留言引起了女孩輕舞飛揚的注意，她給痞子蔡發來的E-mail中稱痞子蔡是個有趣的人。這讓一向自以為枯燥乏味的痞子蔡大大感到意外，他開始好奇的關注起輕舞飛揚，並漸漸被她的聰慧所吸引。此時，阿泰卻奉勸痞子蔡對網絡戀情切勿沉溺過深，因為虛幻的網絡不會讓情感永恒持久。
　　痞子蔡每晚在網上與輕舞飛揚的交流成了一種默契，他向輕舞飛揚描述在網絡上通常存在“三種人”，並告訴輕舞飛揚她就是“第二種人”，並猜測她或者即將老去，或者時日無多，沉默良久輕舞飛揚的對他說，她很想見他。
　　痞子蔡不相信阿泰所說的網絡上的女孩都是“恐龍”，都會“見光死”的忠告，他決意與輕舞飛揚相見。令他驚訝的是，他所見的輕舞飛揚不但漂亮，還說出了一套頗有見解的“咖啡哲學”，而痞子蔡則從容的道出了他的流體力學，痞子蔡的聰明睿智，博得輕舞飛揚的親睞，他們感動著影院裏的《泰坦尼克號》，品嚐著麥當勞的可樂，薯條，歡舞在漂灑著DOLCE VITA 的香水雨中......他們有了難以忘懷的第一次親密接觸。
　　正當痞子蔡憧憬著美好的未來時，卻收到了輕舞飛揚最後的E-mail，輕舞飛揚就這樣消失了......
　　痞子蔡痛苦萬分，他要找回他的輕舞飛揚，在輕舞飛揚的好友小雯那裏，痞子蔡終於得知輕舞飛揚在遙遠的醫院裏，他不相信年輕的生命會就此消失，痞子蔡曆盡艱辛，終於找到了輕舞飛揚的病床前，彌留之際的輕舞飛揚對他說道：“影片已經散場，但生命還得繼續......”。
　　失去了輕舞飛揚的痞子蔡，在傷悲中卻意外的收到了一封由小雯寄來的輕舞飛揚的信箋--麵對這份遲來的愛的承諾，終於感悟到了生命的飛揚.......
