蓮波所譯《綠袖》（GREENSLEEVES）

《綠袖》（lady greensleeves），又譯為《綠袖姑娘》、《袖底風》，是一首在伊麗莎白一世時代就已廣為流傳英國民謠，此歌相傳是英國國王亨利八世所作（他同時又是一位出色的長笛演奏家）。傳說亨利八世曾愛上一位身著綠衫的美麗姑娘，名字叫做安妮-波琳，姑娘與他相約有期，但是，分手之後就再無音信，從而留給亨利八世一生的憂思。

《綠袖》（lady greensleeves），旋律古典優雅，是一首憂傷的愛情歌曲，在歐美各國廣為傳唱，更在19世紀中葉演變為一首“聖誕專用歌曲”，很多著名的世界級音樂家都將其作為自己的首要的演出曲目。

蓮波在1995年翻譯此詩，並在USENET newsgroup ACT(alt.chinese.text)上發表。
