China and Russia Sign Contracts in Harbin

Everyone has heard how cold it is in Siberia. Well, maybe not everyone. But, at least many people have. Well, it's true. In fact, it is so cold in Siberia that people tell jokes in November but nobody laughs until March - when the words thaw out.

Russia and China met in Harbin, China - in China's coldest region - to sign a deal to produce furniture, assemble trucks and export energy equipment to China.

The deal was worth some $2.5 billion total.
