Grow beard into pony tail

Oneday, my husband came inside the house with bare chest after he finishedmowing the lawn. My three year old daugher lifted his arm and said: "Daddy, you grow beard under your arm."

 

I asked her with a straight face: " Where do you grow your beard?"

 

She turned her head and swished her hair from side to side, said:" Can't you see? I grow my beard on top of my head."

 

Her daddy grabbed her and said:" Let's shave your beard off."

 

She pushed him away, and said" No way, I will grow my beard into a pony tail."

Truth about death

Oneday, my four year old daughter and I found a dead dear killed bytraffic at the roadside. We called to have the dear picked up. Sheasked what happened to the dear and asked many questions.

 

Itried my best to explain what happens to a creature when it dies, thelife-death cycle, how every plant and animals are connected, etc.

 

WhileI was quite satisfied with my scientic explaination, she turned to mewith a face full of worry and said:" Are you going to die?"

 

Iassured her that will not happen in a long time. She did not hear me,tears were coming out, said:" you can not die, you can not die".

 

I promised to her: " It will not happen until my hair turns gray, my face is full of wrinkles."

 

For the next two weeks, everyday she checked my hair for gray and my face for wrinkles.

 

I told her my wrinkles will set into my face slower if she put kisses on my face. So I got extra amount of kisses from her.

Afew months later, her grandmother came to vist. She sat on her lap andchatted with grandma. She asked:" Are you going to die?"

 

Her grandma was surprised and said:" This will not happen for a while, I hope."

 

She said:" When you die, I will be very sad and miss you so much."

 

Her Grandma gave her a big hug. She placed many kisses on her face and said: " Now your wrinkles will grow slower."

Later during our small talk, I told her she should not ask those questiones because those questiones make people sad.

 

She asked:" Are they afraid of dying?"

 

Then I had her promise not to ask people that quesiones either.

 

 

 

You Needed Time To Grow

My four year old daughter had no clue about the people's age. She asked me:"I am four years old. How old are you?"

I tested her:" How old do you think Mommy is and how old do you think Daddy is?"

She thought for a while and said:" Maybe you are 24, and Daddy is 38."

Daddy protested:" Why Daddy is so much old than your Mommy?"

She said: " You are so much bigger than Mommy (body size), you needed time to grow, didn't you?"

我家的小竹筍快兩歲了,貢獻趣事幾則:

(1)

小竹筍騎在小三輪車上.兩腳蹬地,左衝右突.忽聽她大叫:"摔了,摔了.襪子摔了."原來小三輪車一頭撞在洗衣筐上,搭在邊上的一隻襪子掉下來了.

(2)

傍晚,在秋千上玩的興起,仰頭對著天上喊:"彎亮,彎亮(她一向對月亮這麽稱呼),打秋千嗎?嗯?"回頭一望,果然有一個彎月掛在天邊呢.不由得想:李白的舉杯邀明月難道受過小孩子的啟發嗎?

媽媽正在上廁所,小竹筍手拿一片ALWAYS,拆去包裝,遞給媽媽,同時關切地說:"媽媽裹上尿布嗎?嗯?"說嗯的時候,拐著彎兒拉個長聲,眼睛注視著你,小下巴往前點一下,同時眉毛輕輕一揚,那份關心真是讓媽媽有盛情難卻的感覺.

"Grow beard into pony tail"，“摔了”，“彎亮，打秋千嗎？”小孩子真是天生的詩人。。。
“Now your wrinkles will grow slower.”，“"媽媽裹上尿布嗎?” 好溫柔呢。。。
三歲看到老，gg真是個好情人，有小女孩的，快快加到SON-IN-LAW CANDIDATE LIST中去，嗬嗬。

小孩子的故事，真是叫人看得心裏很柔軟。。。（再看，俺要去申請當幼兒園阿姨了）。。。

等你在 infant room 實習，每天忙著換尿布，喂食，擦鼻涕的時候，你就不見得會這樣想了。 ;-)

哈哈，海鷗飛處好現實哦。 不過這是真的。幼兒園老師好辛苦，而且錢很少。我很佩服她
們，you have to be loving kids so much, to do this job.

海鷗飛處 給 秋辭委婉地指出了一個事實。
而我對老公的教育是，當他拒絕給寶寶換臭尿布時，提醒他為不需要每天換幾十次而慶幸。然後，等他捏著鼻子去換了，一邊繼續我手頭的什麽事情，一邊聽著他被熏得哇哇幹嘔的聲音而偷偷笑。

最近的蟲子有新品種了嗎？我在將來那邊的回複都跑到中間去了。

我LP不需要太多的提醒，隻要一句＂是你要孩子的＂，我這當老子的就得乖乖的換臭臭去了。 不過幸運的是，她還從來沒有需要說這句話－－夠自覺的吧？ ;-)
