故事是上周聽來後用英文轉述的，幾次想用中文重寫都不成，就還是原樣奉上。
When the mother penguin has laid egg, she left home, travels some 70 miles looking for foods for the family; the father penguin sits on the egg, no moves, no foods for 4 good months to protect the egg and keep it absolutely warm. A tiny little mistake may result in the damage or dangers to the precious egg.
4 months later the mother penguin returns, how could she find her own husband in the penguin flock? By voices. She produces all kinds of sounds and so does her husband. There is a huge happy affectionate reunion of the couple. And, the “little chick” - baby penguin comes to the world -- little, weak, shaking in cold and so the mother penguin takes over the task of raising the baby and What happens to the father? --------------
There goes the father penguin, again some 70 miles freezing journey for foods. There is a moving gentle episode before he leaves his child --- he draws near to the baby’s ear and talks to the baby, singing, makes some noises to the young penguin so that when he returns some 4 months later (if he could make it), his child could recognize his voice.
The story may touch people in different ways, but compassion and love are probably the same. The story also reminds me, long long time ago when I was created by my Heavenly Father, He, who willing to die for me, has also whispered and sung to me, He has sung that Unchain Melody right into my cells: love, peace, joy, so I could recognize Him and so I could be home…..
