class是什麽

我在學校的朋友marian曾經是英美煙草在中東的人事主管。她自視甚高， 可以理解。常常使我想起當初見到的中國保潔的人。趕上了時代浪潮，當過弄潮兒。

周末我們兩個一起學習的時候談起了她找男朋友的標準。她說，綜合起來就是要有class。結果她舉的例子是要知道一些品牌什麽的，比方說要知道穿seven牌的牛仔褲等等。。。 我很不感冒。她說，我住過dubai最豪華的酒店，我生病都是乘飛機到法國治療的。。。 我不可以嫁給一個簡單的人。

我總是覺得class跟designer\'s clothes, luxurious hotels還是有些區別的。但是形容不出來。昨天跟死黨打電話聊天的時候問她怎麽看的。死黨說，marian is obviously confused class with money. A person who can treat everyone with respect, well spoken can be high class even he is just in plain jeans and T shirt. He does not need to wear brand names.

marian 說過我那冒名男朋友Carlos has no class因為他總是在開玩笑。死黨說Carlos definitely has class。 因為他非常尊重別人，也就是愛開玩笑嘛，幽默感就是class裏的。

我聽來聽去覺得這些都不是我心中的class. 我總覺得那種內心平和，行為言談優雅有度的人是真的class.
