大提琴: 沉思 作曲:馬斯奈 演奏:馬友友

儒勒·馬斯奈 (Jules Massenet,1842-1912),法國作曲家,1890至1920年間的法國作曲家均受到他的影響。音樂具有個性,甜美傷感。代表作品為歌劇《泰伊思》,其幕間曲《沉思》流傳極廣。

馬斯奈《沉思》,原曲為馬斯奈的歌劇《泰伊思》第二幕第一場與第二場中間所奏的間奏曲,故又稱為"泰伊思冥想曲",常被單獨演奏,成為小提琴獨奏曲中經久不衰的名篇,也是馬斯奈的代表作品。

歌劇《泰伊思》作於1894年,發生在公元四世紀的埃及。亞曆山大城的名妓泰伊思由於受到修道士的感化,終於擺脫了花天酒地、縱情享樂的世俗生活,而皈依宗教。泰伊思在修道院裏獲得了寧靜,同時也徹底失去了人間的歡樂,最終她帶著一種複雜的心情離開了人世。這段間奏曲表現了泰伊思厭倦世俗,而產生通過信仰宗教來求得解脫時的心態。這一優美的旋律,除用做間奏外,在劇中也經常出現,以提高劇中氣氛。

樂曲結構簡單,為虔誠的行板,D大調,4/4拍子。乘著清澈的分散和弦的伴奏,主奏小提琴奏出了著名的抒情性主題,這一主題在原歌劇中出現多次;在中間部,旋律的展開與變型極富有熱情,經過更快而激動的變化之後,再度出現最初的旋律。結尾是以G弦逐漸減弱音力,以泛音的微弱音響慢慢消失而結束。

馬友友堪稱當今世界最出色的大提琴演奏大師,他高大俊朗,溫文爾雅,總是麵帶微笑,是一個極具親和力的人。歐美有一句流行語:“早安!馬友友;晚安!羅斯特羅波維奇。”這頗能說明馬友友與卡薩爾斯和羅斯特羅波維奇已形成大提琴演奏家前後三代的頂級人物。

馬友友雖然身上流淌著中國人的血液,卻從未在中國的土地上生活過。他生在法國、長在美國。馬友友一出生就受到家庭音樂氛圍的熏陶,父親是小提琴家兼作曲家,曾任南京中央大學音樂係教授,母親盧雅文則是一名歌唱家。馬友友3歲隨父親練琴,5歲在巴黎大學首次舉辦演奏會便一舉成名。7歲那年,他隨家人移居美國,後進入朱麗亞音樂學院,師從傑出大提琴家倫納德·羅斯。

馬友友說:“我們活著的原因,就是要給下一代希望。當我們的生命完結時,要把經驗留給年輕人,以利於年輕人去創造他們的社會、他們的生活。所以,我在音樂裏麵永遠是強調認同,要尋找音樂的根。” (摘自網絡)

Manon is an opéra comique in five acts by Jules Massenet to a French libretto by Henri Meilhac and Philippe Gille, based on L’histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut by Abbé Prévost. It was first performed at the Opéra Comique in Paris on January 19, 1884.

Manon is Massenet's most popular and enduring opera, having maintained an important place in the repertory since its creation. It is the quintessential example of the charm and vitality of the music and culture of the Parisian Belle Époque.

Jules (Émile Frédéric) Massenet (May 12, 1842 – August 13, 1912) was a French composer best known for his operas. His compositions were very popular in the late 19th and early 20th century.

However, his style fell out of favor after his death and, except Manon, his works were rarely performed. Since the mid-1970s, many of his operas have seen periodic revivials.

Yo-Yo Ma (traditional Chinese: 馬友友; simplified Chinese: 馬友友; pinyin: Mǎ Yǒuyǒu) (b. October 7, 1955) is a French-born American[1] cellist and winner of multiple Grammy Awards.

Playing style

Ma has been referred to as “omnivorous” by critics, and possesses a more eclectic repertoire than is typical for classical musicians.

A sampling of his versatility in addition to numerous recordings of the standard classical repertoire would include his recordings of Baroque pieces using period instruments, American bluegrass music; traditional Chinese melodies including the soundtrack to the film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon; the tangos of Argentinian composer Ástor Piazzolla; an eclectic and unusual collaboration with Bobby McFerrin (where Ma admits to being terrified of the improvisation McFerrin pushes him toward); as well as the music of modern minimalist Philip Glass in such works as the 2002 piece, Naqoyqatsi.

In 2006, a soundtrack album was released of the music from the 2005 film, Memoirs of a Geisha. He is known for his smooth, rich tone as well as his considerable virtuosity, including a cello recording of Niccolò Paganini's 24th Caprice for solo violin, Zoltán Kodály's cello sonata, and other demanding works.
