上海微風

網上聽到約翰丹佛的另一首歌“My Sweet Lady”，猛然就想起多年前聽過的這首歌。那時我還在上海，外籍英文老師介紹這首歌給我們聽，那溫柔的歌詞和優美的旋律一下子就抓住了我的心。 

這麽多年了，再次聆聽，我心依動，黃浦江的滔滔江水在我眼前流動，上海街頭的鼎沸人聲在我耳邊回響。
正如歌裏唱的“though i seem a half million miles from you 雖然我離你有五千裏之遠
you're in my heart and living there 你卻依然在我心中
and the moon and the stars are the same ones you see 這兒的月亮和星星，都和你在那邊看到的一樣
it's the same old sun up in the sky 天上掛的是同一個太陽
and your voice in my ear is like heaven to me 你的聲音在我耳裏，聽起來就像天籟一樣
like the breezes here in old shanghai 如同這古老的上海微風” 

遠在五千裏以外的上海，你好嗎？

“shanghai breezes soft and gentle 上海微風柔和怡人
remind me of your tenderness 使我想起了你的溫柔” 

這首<上海微風>是約翰丹佛為其妻子所創作的情歌，在他的音樂中，有很多都是為其妻子而寫的。
這首上海微風就是John Denver到上海參觀之後寫下的。 

約翰·丹佛 1943年12月31日出生於新墨西哥州的勞斯威爾。他8歲時祖母給了他一隻1910年製造的吉布森吉他，他玩上了癮。在上了德克薩斯技術學院學建築以後，丹佛到了洛杉機開始從事音樂。

1969年他作為獨唱歌手發行了專輯《有根有據》。專輯中的一支歌《噴氣式飛機》成了彼得、保爾和瑪麗這些民歌手們的保留節目，並在1969年年底榮登Billboard單曲排行榜的榜首。

 
70年代中期是丹佛的黃金時期。開頭是一首流行歌曲的榜首歌《陽光灑在我肩上》，這首歌很快成為他的代表作。1974年年中的一張專輯《又回到家》也榮登榜首，其中主要的一支歌《安妮之歌》進入最流行歌曲100首，並獲得首位，這張專輯的題名曲也獲取了鄉村音樂排行榜的首席。1975年以後，丹佛在單張排行榜上名次下降，而他的專輯繼續走紅：從1971年到1982年在最流行40首歌曲榜上，他的歌曲總共上榜15次。

在80年代，丹佛在鄉村歌曲排行榜上比在流行歌曲排行榜上更為成功，他的一些主要唱片是與別人合作的：和歌劇明星普拉多. 多明戈合作了《也許是愛》，是1982年流行歌曲排行榜上的第59名；和艾米羅·哈瑞斯合作了《一望無際的蒙塔那天空》，獲得1983年鄉村歌曲排行榜的第14名；和尼迪·格瑞迪·得特樂隊合作了《於是就這樣了》，是1989年鄉村歌曲榜的第14名。 

約翰·丹佛至今已獲得21次金唱片獎和4 次白金唱片獎，他的《鄉村之路》是中國觀眾最為熟悉的美國鄉村歌曲，在八十年代的大學校園裏成為大學生們的最愛。 

1997年10月的一天，我在美國報紙上的一個小角落看到報道他在LA-San Diego飛行中不幸墜機遇難的消息。
