繼2010年NJMonthly兩年一次的公立高中排行榜上，NewProvidence高中從全新州的17位一下上升到第5位，讓很多重視教育的華人開始關注這個小鎮。今年9月，該鎮高中再次被美國教育部授予國家級藍帶學校的稱號。全國有256所公立和49所私立學校獲此殊榮，整個新澤西洲包括公立私立還有教會學校從小學到高中，一共隻有14家學校評上。

很多客戶和朋友都來問我NewProvidence的宜居情況，朋友問是出於關心我的生活周遭，客戶問則更是因為在去年NJMONTHLY新出爐的NJ高中排名中,NewProvidence這個名不見經傳的小鎮取得了第5位的好成績，這讓我這本鎮居民著實地驕傲了一陣子之後，本著好東西不要藏著掖著，要大家分享才對的原則，撰寫簡介一篇。
