There is a fever of Tang poems translation going on here at 美語壇，so I am following the trend by showing few ancient poems.

 

1. 漢譯英 （by 蘇軾）

 

人皆養子望聰明，

我被聰明誤一生。

惟願孩兒愚且魯，
無災無難到公卿。

 

(I think whoever  translating above is really cool & smart:)

 

 

2. Translate to Chinese 古詩翻譯 （約公元前4000年創作@希伯來文）

 

He made a pit, and 

digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made. 

 

His mischief shall return upon his own head, and 

his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate. 

 

This poem from Bible. Psalm, and the hero and poet is in picture below ， his intelligence and bravery had fooled the enemy and defeated whole army of invading Philistines in Israel.

3. American/Japanese Idiom - -  2 or 3  no evils are ok. Please make a sentence to support 3 smart monkeys below with "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" ( 2 evils are fine:).

 

They seem to be saying we don't like the law, so we'll simply ignore it. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. He is taking a 'hear no evil, see no evil' approach to being the Minister of  Health. They seem to be saying we don't like the law, so we'll simply ignore it.
